Love is like a Rock

Is that a song? Sounds like one. Anyway, My grandkids started a rock collection for me a few years ago. I love these rocks, they are my treasures. Isn't it cool how much they are really heart shaped? A few are a stretch, I know, but I just appreciate that they must be thinking of me at times, like when on a hike, playing outside, camping, or on vacation. They are on my mind a lot too.

Life's Everydayness

I bought this little book at the Library and it made me think, life is a little same o' same o' most of the time. That can be good and bad. Good if you are blessed with the things that make life good, health, a little wealth, and loved ones. Bad if you dont have some of those things. I like my life to be right down the middle, I can handle some good and some bad. Thankfully, I have mostly a really good life.

I like to have things to look forward to. I was talking to my grandson Max while we were on vacation. It was the last day and he and I were a little sad to leave the lake, sad that vacation and together time was almost over. So I told him my secret, always have things to look forward to. It doesn't have to be a big deal, mostly the little things get me excited.

I am looking forward to:
