Applesauce~A Group Effort

Cole loves applesauce, and now he has enough to last till next year's apple season! Enjoy, Cole!

Jason and Melissa picked up a real treasure at the annual Lexington Hills yard sales, it is a fabulous grinder, strainer setup. We didn't get a picture of it, but we sure used the heck out of it, about 7 hours of grinding, till our whole bodies hurt and we had 38 quarts of delicious canned applesauce!

Apple Picking

We had a great time at the church's apple orchard, we got so many apples for so little money. The ones on the ground were in perfect condition, so we just picked them up. Much easier than climbing the ladders. Little did we know that the real work had yet to begin...making the apples into apple sauce!
